"We all want what we can't have"

Films: Edward Scissorhands (1990)

Alias: None

Type: Man-Made

Location: Haunted Home/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Good

Summary: For the average creation of man, life is generally unfair. They are born into a world far from ready to accept them, and there's always a catch to their existence. But perhaps none of them had it as bad as poor Edward here.

History: A homunculus of sorts, Edward was robbed of a normal life when his benevolent creator died right before he could give him normal hands. Now Ed is stuck with incredibly dangerous blades for fingers. He would have spent his time in his castle if someone hadn't kindly offered to take him to the comfy suburbia below. Now, Edward wows people with his extensive manicure and gardening skills. But there are people who would take advantage of his unendingly kind demeanor...

Notable Kills: See Final Fate.

Final Fate: After being blamed for all sorts of mishaps, Edward is chased back into his castle, where he stabs and tosses the jerk responsible for his misery out the window. Now, he has remained in his castle forever. But it is said that because of his ice sculptures, it finally snows in suburbia...

Powers/Abilities: Those hands of this aren't just for show...

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Edward may look like the kind of person who could massacre anyone with so much as a handshake, but he's anything but a villain. He's painfully aware of how dangerous he is, and his quietly nice disposition only adds to the tragedy. Perhaps if things were different, he could get those hands he so desperately wanted...

Trivia: -This was the final on-screen appearance of Vincent Price, as the ailing scientist. Director Tim Burton idolized this man, even as he neared death.

-Originally, this film was slated to be a musical, but this idea was dropped in spite of how "operatic" it seemed to Burton.

The character, not the actor, that is.

Not gonna lie. The inventor had a few screws loose.
You still have to wonder when he had the time to do this.

Well, his skin was pale as it was. The cold never bothered him anyway.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was a fan of the stalker-shrine treatment.
